Purpose of this Policy
CheckedIt.ai is a specialised pre-screening SaaS platform that automates compliance checks for advertising content in regulated industries (e.g. alcohol, food, gambling, insurance). This Fair Use Policy ensures that all subscribers access the platform in a way that preserves service quality, protects proprietary AI models, and supports equitable usage.
Scope & Applicability
This policy applies to all users and subscription tiers (Starter to Enterprise), including customers integrating via API, using partner access, or uploading proprietary policy data for AI training. By using CheckedIt.ai, you agree to comply with this Fair Use Policy as a condition of service.
Guiding Principle: Fairness in Shared Resources
Our platform relies on shared computing, model inference, and regulatory content resources. Excessive or inappropriate use by one customer may impair service quality for others or risk regulatory credibility if over-automated without proper oversight.
Fair use means using the platform:
- In accordance with your subscription tier's stated usage caps
- Within intended workflows (i.e. ad creative pre-checks, label reviews, packaging analysis)
- Without compromising model integrity or system stability
Usage Limits by Subscription Tier
Each tier carries a clearly stated usage allowance (e.g. 5–325 monthly checks). These are calibrated for typical marketing/regulatory workflows.
Use beyond these thresholds may trigger:
- Usage alerts
- Temporary throttling
- Recommendations to upgrade tier
- In rare cases, access suspension pending investigation
Examples of misuse include:
- Running bulk, automated uploads via browser scraping
- Attempting to reverse-engineer regulatory outputs from the system
- Repeatedly uploading near-identical assets to game AI recommendations
- Exploiting Starter or Essentials tier for enterprise-scale usage

Monitoring & Compliance
We monitor usage patterns to detect abuse or unintentional overuse.
This includes:
- Frequency and volume of check submissions
- IP address/session anomalies
- API behaviour inconsistent with plan
CheckedIt.ai will:
- Notify users prior to any enforcement
- Allow for good-faith spikes (e.g. campaign launch days)
- Provide upgrade or support options if usage needs have scaled
Enforcement Actions
Violations may lead to:
- Rate-limiting or throttling usage
- Email warning or temporary suspension
- For serious or repeat violations, termination of service in line with our Terms & Conditions
We strive for proportionality: minor breaches will not result in harsh penalties.
User Obligations
You must:
- Use the platform only for the regulatory compliance assessment of your business or clients
- Not sub-license platform access to third parties unless contractually allowed
- Not extract, reproduce, or republish AI outputs as generic legal advice or resell them
Privacy & Security
Any monitoring under this Policy complies with:

- The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles
- Your rights under applicable consumer and data protection law
We do not access uploaded creative content for purposes outside policy enforcement, model tuning, or anonymised benchmarking.

- Usage trends
- Platform upgrades
